•  In this technique, either general or local anesthesia is given to the patient. 
• A cut is then made over the shoulder and muscle underneath it to isolate the shoulder joint. 
• For open shoulder surgery, the incision  is almost six inches long. 
• The humerus and glenoid attachment are then isolated. The harmed bone is cut and dispensed with a metal ball then fixed with a humerus top. 
• Patients having Osteoarthritis, will require bone to fix the humeral part or embed. A ligament attachment is currently ready. In the shoulder bone, the plastic glenoid part is fixed. 
• In the last stage, entry points are fixed or sewed after the artificial implantation is finished.
